Abstract
The development of reproductive technologies and genetics are closely linked and part of a rapidly growing and increasingly lucrative bioeconomy. This article shows that it is time to take the discussions about the ethical implications of reproductive and genetic technologies out of the rooms of fertility clinics, ethics committees and expert panels and into the center of the social debate.
